News for A Cozy Death Book Club
Hello All!
This month we’re meeting on the 22nd at 2:00 pm PDT. We read Ovidia Yu’s Aunty Lee’s Delights. The novel is witty, gives the reader a sense of what life is like in Singapore, and uses food particular to Singapore as a major talking point to carry the mystery forward. All told it is a charming story and a very fast read. I hope that you’ll join us at the meeting.
Last month I mentioned that we’re getting together suggested books for 2025 and reading them first to make sure that the book will appeal to the majority of the members. We’re trying to combine classics from the Golden Age of Mystery Writing and international cozies along with new authors to our repertoire. If you have any suggestions, please, please let me know so that we can preview them and include them for 2025.
Do join our blog on www.acozydeath.com. Tahlia and I are exploring adding a coloring page and a game on each month’s blog. Additionally, we include a contest every few months.
I’ll see you soon …
As always, the best of wishes,
Karin Diskin
